System Shock Version 2.1 is officially live across all platforms! Internally, we’ve dubbed this the “Parity Patch.” This update represents a major milestone for System Shock, as we bring every platform onto the exact same version of the game.
This update addresses several long-standing issues on PlayStation and Xbox, while also delivering performance and stability refinements to the Nintendo Switch family. To help clarify what this means for you, we have organized the notes by their original release windows. Below, you will find a breakdown of the fixes included in v2.1, as well as a recap of the updates from versions 1.3 through 2.0 which are now integrated into PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
A demo for System Shock is also now available on Nintendo Switch 2. This demo includes the full Medical Deck and incorporates all of the enhancements introduced in the Parity Patch.
A massive thank you to our longtime fans and Kickstarter backers for your continued support and patience while we finalized this update. It’s been quite a journey from the initial crowdfunding days to where we are today, and we truly couldn’t have reached this milestone without you.
